Mass spectrometry compares the observed mass with the expected mass. For TB-500, that expected mass is 889.0 g/mol. Therefore, a certificate that confirms identity by mass spec settles which molecule you are paying for. Without it, the name on the label is a claim, not a fact.

- Purity. Next, at 99% purity it holds 9.9 mg of target peptide, so about 15.2 per mg.
- Content. Then, if the certificate measures 9.5 mg, divide by 9.5 instead: about 15.8 per mg.
- Delivery. Finally, add any fee before dividing; over AED 350 in the UAE, there is none.

What the Literature Studies
Most published work concerns full-length thymosin beta-4, not the heptapeptide fragment. A 2012 review in Expert Opinion on Biological Therapy by Goldstein, Hannappel, Sosne and Kleinman describes thymosin beta-4 as a naturally occurring peptide that binds actin. It also surveys experimental work on cell migration in skin, eye, heart and brain models.

Federal Decree-Law No. 38 of 2024 governs medical products and pharmaceutical establishments in the UAE, and it took effect on 2 January 2025.
