NAD+

NAD+ is the oxidised form of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide, a coenzyme of adenine and nicotinamide nucleotides that cycles between oxidised (NAD+) and reduced (NADH) forms in cellular redox reactions and also donates ADP-ribose groups. It is studied widely in cell and animal biology, including research on metabolism and ageing.
