SHLabz vs Afiya Labs for GCC Buyers: Saudi, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman

12 Oct 2026

Research peptides in the GCC: SHLabz vials and parcels on a carved bench on the Muscat corniche, mountains behind

For a buyer in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain or Oman, the useful Afiya Labs GCC comparison is not price. It is whether a supplier publishes Gulf delivery terms at all.

Every statement about Afiya Labs below comes from afiyalabsuae.com as published on 8 October 2026, and we checked the shipping policy again on 12 October 2026. Nothing here comments on the quality of anyone’s products.

Instead, this guide sets out what each supplier publishes, what a Gulf buyer should check before any cross-border order, and what a good answer looks like. Where a fact is missing from a supplier’s pages, we say so rather than guess.

Quick answer: On Afiya Labs GCC delivery, the published shipping policy describes UAE terms only and does not mention Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain or Oman. SHLabz publishes GCC terms: freeze-dried vials and topicals (the GHK-Cu serum and hair spray) in 3–5 working days for AED 60, free over AED 2,500. So a Gulf buyer should ask Afiya directly, then check certificates, local import rules and delivery terms before ordering.

What Afiya Labs Publishes for GCC Buyers

Afiya’s shipping policy sets out UAE terms: AED 50 to the emirates, free from AED 1,000, cooled in about a day, and AED 60 to the western region, free from AED 800, in 2–3 days without cooling. The policy does not mention delivery to other GCC countries. If you are outside the UAE, ask Afiya directly before relying on it.

When we checked on 12 October 2026, the policy also said orders usually leave within one working day, Monday to Friday. It said the UAE is its “primary market”, and it named the western region as Al Dhafra, Ruwais, Liwa, Madinat Zayed and Sir Bani Yas. In addition, its home page said a certificate of analysis comes with every batch, with purity by HPLC and identity by mass spectrometry.

That is a clear set of UAE terms. However, a buyer in Riyadh or Kuwait City still has no published fee, window or route to plan around. That gap is the whole point of this comparison.

What SHLabz Publishes

SHLabz ships freeze-dried vials and topicals (the GHK-Cu serum and hair spray) to Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman and Jordan in 3–5 working days. The fee is AED 60, free on orders over AED 2,500. Pens and nasal sprays stay UAE-only, because they need a cold chain a multi-day crossing cannot guarantee.

Orders placed before 12:00 UAE time leave the same day. After that, they leave on the next working day. We process orders Monday to Friday, excluding UAE public holidays.

Afiya Labs, SHLabz and GCC Rules Country by Country

A single GCC fee hides real differences between the five destinations. Each country has its own regulator and its own customs process. So a Gulf buyer should read the rules for their own country, not a general promise.

Saudi Arabia

The Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) regulates medicines in the Kingdom. On 29 September 2026 it said it had found unregistered peptide products sold through websites and online accounts. It started legal action against the store owners under Article 34(2) of its pharmaceutical law, with fines of up to SAR 5 million, prison of up to five years, or both. Tamara instalments work for SHLabz orders in Saudi Arabia, as well as in the UAE.

Kuwait and Qatar

Kuwait’s Ministry of Health registers medicines, and a law firm guide notes that an unregistered product will not be permitted into the country. Meanwhile, Qatar’s Ministry of Public Health went further in August 2026. A circular banned the import, sale, use and promotion of unlicensed peptide preparations, and a “research use” label gives no exemption when a product is used or promoted for human use.

Bahrain and Oman

In Bahrain, the National Health Regulatory Authority (NHRA) sets the rules for drug registration and medicine quality. Oman works in a similar way, since its Ministry of Health grants approval to market a medicinal product. Across both, as everywhere in the Gulf, duties and import requirements are the recipient’s responsibility.

Why Afiya Labs and GCC Cold Chain Differ

Afiya says it cools UAE deliveries to most emirates but not to the western region. SHLabz runs every UAE order under cold chain, vials included. Sealed lyophilised powder does not need it, because the dry cake is stable at room temperature. We do it anyway, because it removes one variable.

Across the GCC, our vials travel without cold chain. That is fine for sealed powder, and we say so plainly. It is also why we never send pens or nasal sprays across a border: a solution needs 2–8 °C from filling, and a 3–5 day trip cannot promise it.

So when you compare cold chain claims from Afiya Labs and other GCC suppliers, ask one thing. Which formats need it, and which formats can actually cross the border?

Certificates Behind Afiya Labs and GCC Orders

Afiya listed endotoxin testing when we checked on 4 October 2026. SHLabz publishes Janoshik Analytical certificates by batch on our lab results page, so a GCC buyer can check a batch before committing to a cross-border order. An independent laboratory tests every batch we sell.

How to Read a Certificate

First, look at HPLC purity. This is the main peak’s share of all peaks, usually read by UV at 210–220 nm. It tells you how much of the peptide material is the target, but not how much peptide is in the vial.

Second, look for identity by mass spectrometry. The observed mass should match the theoretical mass for that sequence. Next, look for net content in milligrams. Purity and content are different numbers, because a powder also holds counter-ions such as TFA or acetate, and some water.

Finally, match the batch number on the certificate to the label on your vial. A certificate for another batch tells you nothing about yours.

Checking a Report Yourself

Janoshik lets anyone check a report through the Verify tab on its site or the QR code on the report. For example, our BPC-157 10 mg batch BC10/2026-0310 shows 99.764% purity and 9.72 mg content. Our GHK-Cu 100 mg batch SHCU100-082026 shows 99.713% purity. Our certificate guide walks through each line.

A GCC Checklist That Goes Beyond Afiya Labs

Use these eight checks with any supplier, including both of the ones above.

  1. Published GCC terms. A fee, a window and a list of countries, in writing.
  2. Batch certificates. A report for the batch you will receive, not a sample one.
  3. A named laboratory. One you can check on the lab’s own site.
  4. Identity data. Mass spectrometry as well as HPLC purity.
  5. Honest formats. Only sealed powder should cross a border without cold chain.
  6. Labelled vials. Name, size and batch on every vial, never a blank “stealth” vial.
  7. Clear customs terms. Who handles duties, and what happens if a parcel is held.
  8. Research-only language. No human-use claims anywhere on the site.

A Worked Example: One Order to Riyadh

Take a lab in Riyadh that needs three sealed vials. First, it checks the certificates for each batch on the supplier’s site. Then it reads the SFDA position and confirms its own import route, because the duties and permits are its own.

With SHLabz, an order placed at 10:00 UAE time on a Tuesday leaves that day. It should arrive in 3–5 working days, and the fee is AED 60 unless the order passes AED 2,500. Tamara is available, because the order ships to Saudi Arabia.

With Afiya Labs, the GCC route is not on the published page. So the same lab would need to email Afiya, ask for written terms and wait for a reply. That is not a criticism; it is simply the step a buyer must add when terms are not published.

Afiya Labs, GCC Customs and Held Parcels

A held parcel is the risk every Gulf buyer should plan for. Before you order, ask any supplier three questions. Who talks to customs? Will the supplier send paperwork, such as an invoice and a certificate? And what happens to the money if the parcel never clears?

A good answer is short, written and specific. Also, keep your own copy of the certificate and invoice, so you can respond quickly if an officer asks. Import rules for research compounds differ between Gulf states, and the recipient is responsible for them. SHLabz’s optional shipping protection (AED 24.99 plus 5% of the order) covers one reship if a parcel is lost, stolen, damaged or seized at customs. Our customs guide explains why border holds happen.

Paying for a GCC Order

SHLabz takes card, Apple Pay and cryptocurrency on GCC orders. Tamara works in the UAE and Saudi Arabia only. Cash or card on delivery is a UAE-only option, so a buyer in Doha, Manama or Muscat should plan to pay online.

For country detail, see our guides to Saudi Arabia, Manama and Oman. Our UAE comparison with Afiya covers delivery inside the emirates.

Comparison last verified 12 October 2026. Supplier pages change, so check both sites for current details before ordering.

The Short Version

For Afiya Labs, GCC delivery terms are missing from the published policy, which describes the UAE only. SHLabz publishes GCC terms: freeze-dried vials and topicals (serum and hair spray) in 3–5 working days for AED 60, free over AED 2,500, with optional protection against customs seizure.

Whichever supplier you pick, check the batch certificate, your own country’s import rules and the formats that can actually cross the border.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does Afiya Labs ship to Saudi Arabia? Its policy doesn’t say; ask Afiya Labs about GCC terms directly. When we checked on 12 October 2026, it described UAE delivery only.

Does SHLabz ship to Bahrain? Yes, freeze-dried vials and topicals (serum and hair spray) in 3–5 working days. Pens and nasal sprays stay in the UAE.

Can I get free GCC delivery? With SHLabz, on orders over AED 2,500. Below that, the fee is AED 60.

Do vials need cold chain on the way to Kuwait or Qatar? No. Sealed lyophilised powder is stable at room temperature, so GCC vials travel without it. Once you reconstitute a vial, keep the solution at 2–8 °C.

Who pays customs duties in the GCC? The recipient. Import rules differ between Gulf states, so check your own country’s position first.

Can I pay cash on delivery outside the UAE? No. Cash or card on delivery is UAE-only, and Tamara covers the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
